I was admitted as a solicitor in 1997. I have been practising law for around 25 years in commercial law, residential and business conveyancing, franchising, wills, probate, estate litigation, administrative and disciplinary law, employment law and corporate governance, as well as e-commerce and privacy law. I have worked in private legal practice in the Northern Territory and Queensland and have managed my own legal practice. I have also worked for the Queensland Law Society as a senior solicitor in the regulation and licensing team.
I have been an adjunct lecturer in the Practical Legal Training program with the College of Law, Brisbane for 12 years, teaching, assessing and mentoring across all PLT subjects.
I am also teaching in the Business Law course at the University of the Sunshine Coast and I am the Lecturer-in-Charge of the Civil Procedure and Alternative Dispute Resolution course at Australian Catholic University (Brisbane campus).
